For some reason I expected these were going to be similar to a Pyrex glass and that they would be oven proof like a custard cup. I wanted to make custards, grapenut, and pumpkin puddings in them in the oven and then just cover them and put them in the fridge. I know they don't say they are heat proof in the description. The description says they are microwave, freezer and dishwasher safe. So my mistake in ordering them. BUT the box they come in has little pictures of a microwave, a dishwasher, a freezer and AN OVEN......EDIT: Since first writing this review I have baked custards in these cups and they definitely are oven proof. The description on Amazon should make this clear. I really like these for baking and for storing small items in the fridge. Also, in response to the reviewer who said the lids look like they would not last very long I'd like to attest to the fact that they are VERY sturdy and hold up very well. Perfect for Baby Food
I was looking for something reasonably priced that would allow me to store (in the fridge) and serve baby food. Because I do not like to microwave in plastic, something glass and with lids was ideal. I have not had the problems with the lids seeming cheap or leaky at all and the bowls nest nicely so they take up very little space. great price for some good bowls
I have bought several cheap bowls to use in the kitchen, I have broken them all. Until now!!! These are well built strong bowls that will stand up to a bit of abuse. I use mine to mash potatos in and seems like I always was breaking out the bottom of the bowls. Simaliar sets I found in stores cost thirty dollars, which is more than I was willing to spend (I have to have money to put something in them to mix up), and don't have th nice shape these do for pouring out the finished product. They are perfect for making pancakes and just pouring the batter straight onto the griddle.

A good value!
These are great! Much sturdier than I thought they would be for the price, easy to clean, and easy to hold on to. Very comparable to the over-priced nesting mixing bowls at Target and Bed, Bath and Beyond. They are also NOT melamine, so You can even use them in the microwave to warm things. However, they are plastic and will melt under high temperatures. I would buy them again in a heartbeat.

These are nice biodegradable bowls made of sugar-cane fiber. (No they do not contain sugar crystals-- just fiber). They are a great alternative to paper bowls which contain chemicals and pollute the environment. I have bought these bowls over and over, and obviously I like them a lot. The plates are great too. If you don't want to buy them here, you may also be able to find them at Whole Foods and Wild Oats. But as usual, Amazon has the best deals. Top to learn more

Best disposable bowl we have every encountered. We don't like plastic or styrfoam, not only for the environmental reasons, but also healthwise, plastic is not good to use with warm foods and liquids. I love Stalkmarket products, and have used them for a number of parties. We ordered these bowls to serve beans in, but had no idea how *tiny* they would be. Nice product with lots of pros
I have these in the kiwi green and I love them. They're a great size for single servings of dips and for prepwork, and they're really, really easy to clean and keep clean (a HUGE plus for me since our dishwasher is forever on the fritz and never gets my other mise bowls clean). They also measure a 1/4 cup, which is awesome because my kitchen is a Bermuda Triangle for 1/4 cup dry measures and I'm constantly searching for something to measure that quantity. I was on the fence about them because I've not been a fan of most other silicone kitchen products that I've tried, but my husband bought them for me as an out of the blue gift and now I want more. His cousin is getting married in October, and I NEVER buy anything that isn't on the bride's registry, but I think I'm going to give her some of these in addition to some other kitchen stuff she's asked for. I bought these to prep spices and herbs in the kitchen and they work fine. Pinching is easy and they are a good size. They aren't great for TINY spices like pepper because they are a little staticky but its not that big of an issue. Overall I'm very pleased with my purchase. Top to learn more

Practical, used daily
Mine are used every day, replacing my hard measuring cups for most uses. They are relatively thick silicone but still quite flexible, so it's easy to scrape or pour food out of them, they stack in little space, are easy to clean, and are very lightweight. I monitor portion sizes and use them to measure any food that fits in a round container, such as corn, beans, peas, coleslaw, potato salad, etc. Besides being useful as prep bowls, they are great for dips as they are easy to scrape with a chip or cracker. I also use the larger ones to defrost frozen berries in the microwave to pour over ice cream or yogurt. When taking my several vitamin pills out of their bottles each day, I drop them in one of these and the pills don't bounce off and fall on the floor where it's hard to find them. Very practical. This Le Creuset product is, in fact, a set of measuring cups. The set measures 1/4 cup, 1/3 cup, 1/2 cup and 1 cup, so you can imagine the size of these cups - They are small.The product is well-made, with the exception that silicone will absorb food smell. I am not sure why, but all my Le Creuset silicone products (e.g. bakeware) do absorb food odor (but the smell does eventually go away). Top to learn more

Great trifle bowl
I needed this in a rush and ordered it here on Amazon.com. The bowl came quickly and served its purpose quite well. It is a no nonsense trifle bowl that I used for a raspberry tiramisu and it looked great. People were quite impressed with the presentation. A Little Smaller than Expected
I ordered this Trifle Bowl to replace one that had shattered (of my own doing). My previous bowl was also an Anchor Hocking, so I didn't look too closely at the dimensions; assuming it would be the same. It happens to be a bit smaller than my previous one, so I have to alter my recipes a bit.
